An exciting opportunity has now arisen for the post of Band 3 Healthcare Assistant for Cedar Ward (PICU), West Park Hospital, Darlington.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our existing team on an acute inpatient Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will participate in delivering high quality standards of care for patients with mental health problems, requiring a variety of needs.
The post holder will work in a supportive environment that is committed to personal and professional development. A flexible approach is required as this post involves shifts including night rotation.
The successful candidate must have completed the Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or equivalent. Candidates must also have literacy and numeracy level 2 or equivalent and must complete the Trust Health Care Assistant competencies within the first year. Internal staff must have completed the full framework before they can apply.
