It's an exciting time to join us: KMPT has been rated Outstanding for Caring and Good overall in our most recent CQC inspection in January 2017!
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and flexible Healthcare Assistant to join our established teams of nursing staff based at Priority House, Maidstone. The role involves providing care and support to in-patients currently experiencing acute mental health difficulties requiring an inpatient admission.
Commitment to meeting the needs of people with mental health problems and valuing their rights is a pre-requisite.
You will be required to adopt a flexible working pattern and be committed to self development and training.
The Trust positively welcomes applications from people who have experienced mental health problems.
Employment in this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
IN CASES WHERE WE RECEIVE A HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS FOR A POST, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO BRING THE CLOSING DATE FORWARD. YOU ARE ADVISED TO SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RESPOND INDIVIDUALLY TO YOUR APPLICATION. SHOULD YOU NOT HEAR FROM US WITHIN SIX WEEKS OF THE VACANCY CLOSING, PLEASE ASSUME THAT YOUR APPLICATION HAS NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL.
Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (formerly a Work Permit)
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed
to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Border Agency requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit UK Border Agency website.
Production of false or forged documents/qualifications in order to obtain employment is a criminal offence and will be reported to the Police.
