Permanent Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist - Forensic or DBT required in Royston, Hertfordshire
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs a week

Our client, one of the UK's high reputational mental health care providers, is looking for a HCPC registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work at their 155 bed mental health hospital on the borders of Cambridgeshire that caters for men and women with differing levels of complex mental health difficulties.
There are two roles at present:
Role 1: HCPC Psychologist with forensic experience to provide psychological service to adult males in a low secure ward, Male Mental Illness Service (LSU).
Role 2: HCPC Psychologist who is DBT trained to provide psychological service within their low secure women DBT service.
The roles will involve the following main duties:
- To undertake specialist clinical duties contributing to assessment and treatment of patients
- To plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group treatments
Our client is looking for an experienced individual who is either trained as a DBT therapist and has an interest and experience in working with women with mental health disorders OR have training in two or more psychological therapies. Moreover, you will also have skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment to inform the psychological formulation and intervention. Previous working history within conditions of low, medium or high security is desirable.
