What do we need from you so you can do the job?
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll assist in the delivery of a timely and efficient medicines management service to the Wing Treatment Services with responsibility for ensuring safe and appropriate access to medicines. Check prescriptions and unwanted returns to pharmacy form the wings. Dispensing medicines to agreed dispensing standards, calculating doses and quantities for supply where there is a specific requirement for accuracy e.g. Methadone preparation.
As a Pharmacy Technician you may be required to take on a role of working across multiple Pharmacy Services if and when required.
The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC or equivalent qualifications and have a current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). They will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
