As BMI's flagship site, The BMI Alexandra Hospital provides a wide range of clinical services from invasive diagnostics and outpatient procedures, to complex surgery in multiple specialities including orthopaedic, cardiac, general, spinal surgery, in addition to medical and cancer care. Care is delivered through our inpatient and outpatient areas, including a level 3 Critical Care Unit, Urgent Care Centre and dedicated Children's unit. The hospital has recently commenced a major investment in refurbishment which is set to continue throughout 2018/19.
This exciting opportunity would suit a driven, autonomous registered radiographer with sound leadership skills and prior experience of leading multiple clinical areas in an acute hospital setting. The remit of the role includes plain film, mobile and theatre imaging, interventional catheter lab, neurophysiology, CT and MRI (1.5T & 3T). He/she will be committed to lead and support the delivery of high quality standards in line with IRR, IRMER and CQC regulations and be integral to developing the clinical service and practice. He/she would work closely with all the hospital clinical and governance teams, consultants and patients and report directly to the Associate Director of Clinical Services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in effectively leading and developing health care teams in an acute hospital setting. He/she will demonstrate calm consistent professional leadership with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
