This is a unique opportunity to join the largest hospital in the country and participate in an excellent trust SHO rotation. As part of this opportunity, the Trust will fund successful candidates for a distance learning MSc degree in a related programme of study at QMUL. MSc courses are provided in several areas including Trauma Sciences and Plastic Surgery. Candidates are invited to apply as soon as possible for places on these courses. If successful at interview for the role and the MSc the Trust will pay university fees in exchange for 24 months service.*

This post is a rotation role including several departments across the Emergency Care and Trauma and Surgery Divisions (final speciality slots and preferences will be confirmed at interview), which offers the opportunity to work across all the Barts Health sites providing excellent variety and opportunities for learning.
The post will provide ideal opportunities to enhance the portfolio of the successful candidate and assist in their career progression, as well as the chance to connect and work with consultants across all the Barts Health sites. Furthermore it will provide well-organised candidates the opportunity to gain valuable clinic and theatre experience and a supportive training environment.
The post is not recognised for post-graduate training but will provide the same educational opportunity and successful candidates are expected to fully participate in the well established postgraduate training program to continue their personal and professional development. Previous candidates have been successful at securing national training numbers (ST3) at national selection interviews.
