Band 8A Senior Neonatal Pharmacist
North Bristol NHS trust has an exciting opportunity for a full time pharmacist with a desire to develop their career in the speciality of neonatology. This is a brand new post designed to improve on the existing service to our tertiary neonatal unit which has 30 cots.
The post holder will need to have good communication and team work skills to enable them to work closely with their neonatal and pharmacy colleagues to ensure that a safe, effective and efficient service provision. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and management of pharmacy services to the neonatal unit including ward rounds, medicines optimisation, TPN nutrition support, governance and financial reporting.
The post holder will have a sessional commitment to the dispensary and weekend rotas.
