The positions involve working within a fast paced inpatient setting in a variety of medical wards, offering support to patients and contributing to their on-going treatment.
Health care assistant are a key part of the ward teams and support the registered nurses in providing high quality patient centred care.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills in an acute setting. You will work with the nursing teams and undertake a range of care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will be involved in a variety of duties such as bathing, toileting, assisting with nutrition and hydration, mobility and pressure area care. We want to be able to support you in this role and help you develop.
