Duties and responsibilities
This role will be to assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision provide a high quality, comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users, ensuring excellent standards of patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment. This will include undertaking tasks related to health and well being, and assisting in the delivery of care to meet the individual's needs. You will maintain standards of infection control within the hospital, your own department and assist patients to maintain their own infection control needs.
Who we are looking for
If you have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience that would be desirable.
You must be able to communicate with other members of staff clearly, able to work effectively as part of a team as well as on your own. You must be empathetic, be able to deal with difficult/sensitive situations and have a flexible approach to work and working patterns.
