Lung Function Patient Pathway Coordinator
Department of Respiratory Medicine
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join the Respiratory Medicine department at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital on a full time basis. We are seeking to recruit a Patient Pathway Coordinator to the Lung Function team to provide excellent patient pathway support and to assist in the delivery of a high quality service.
The post holder will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient pathway administration for patients throughout their journey through the Service; from the point of referral to point of discharge. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, proactive and well organized with a strong sense of patient/customer care. The ability to multi task, work in team and work under pressure in what can often be a busy office environment is essential.
Candidates should ideally have good knowledge and understanding of patient access targets and will have prior experience of working in an administrative role in an NHS setting – previous ward management would also be beneficial.
