We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly committed individual to work within this unique and vibrant therapy team at Newham University Hospital. The successful candidate will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with good range of clinical and management skills. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience in working within an inter-disciplinary team and interagency collaboration.
Our team is friendly and supportive and has a strong professional structure lead by a Deputy Head of Therapies. The immediate respiratory and OPS team consists of:
- Band 8a Clinical Lead Therapist
- Band 7 Occupational Therapist
- 2 band 6 Physiotherapists
- 2 band 6 Occupational Therapists
- 2 band 5 Occupational Therapists
- 4 band 5 Physiotherapists
- 1 band 4 RSW and 2 band 3 RSWs
The therapy team works closely together to provide high quality care to patients on the respiratory, medical and OPS wards. We are actively reviewing the service delivery for our respiratory and OPS service in order to meet the changing needs of our local population and ensuring evidence based clinical pathways are developed for each speciality. All staff are encouraged to be involved or lead different service development projects, audits and clinical governance.
