Newcross Healthcare are seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to provide the highest quality of care and support to our service users who require physical rehabilitation and support in their own homes in Wootton, Isle of Wight and the surrounding local area.
This role has a minimum requirement of 15 hours per week with the option of up to 36hrs a week full time, with pay rates starting at £15/hr.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be providing life-enhancing care to our service users living with additional healthcare needs in their own homes. It is important that the ideal applicant is compassionate and caring, providing expert support that allows our service users to live the life they wish to lead with dignity.
The role will have a strong emphasis on a full rehabilitation programme, with the ideal candidate having a sports therapy / physiotherapy / personal training background or similar.
This is a great chance for you to improve your skill set with a range of free training programmes available, all provided by Newcross earned through credits as you work. This could include Basic Life Support, BSL or Makaton, Medication Administration, Dementia Care and many more.
