Senior Patient Pathway Coordinator – Palliative care
We are looking for a full-time person who is enthusiastic and professional communicator with excellent organisational skills and has experience of working within a busy environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an extremely busy Palliative unit providing management and administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team. The team require a highly organised admin and secretary manger to manage the admin team and provide a range of duties. You will be energetic, positive, hardworking and enthusiastic. An ability to work at pace, to multi task and to prioritise work are key skills required for the post.
You will enjoy working with a range of tasks and you will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will be computer literate, be conscientious and able to deal with confidential issues. You will also be required to have excellent customer service skills as well as an attractive attitude that can respond sympathetically and respectfully to patient queries.
This is a demanding and busy role and the successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, and meet the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. You will need to deal with complex and sensitive information, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a meticulous and flexible approach to work and be able to demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
At least 1 NHS experience at band 4 is essential.
