An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated member of staff to join our busy NIHR/WT Clinical Research Facility (CRF). We are looking to recruit a band 4 Research Secretary / PA to undertake specific administrative duties to facilitate the development and delivery of high quality research studies.
The post holder is a key member of the NIHR / WT Clinical Research Facility Administration Team, taking a lead role in ensuring that all research applications are processed in line with departmental processes. This includes liaising widely with Clinicians, Researchers and Senior Managers to ensure all necessary approvals are in place before any research studies can be implemented.
The post holder will maintain a central reporting system to organise, accurately record and disseminate minutes of scientific and clinical meetings, producing reports for presentation at the Scientific Advisory Committee and internal Operational Meetings. Whilst the main focus of the post holder’s work will be on the administration of the Scientific Advisory Committee, the post holder will also be expected to provide support to other ongoing workstreams within NIHR / WT Clinical Research Facility. There is also delegated responsibility for ordering stock items and maintaining agreed stock levels.
This role will require an individual with excellent organisational and communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
