Due to service reconfiguration and colleagues relocating to other roles, we are looking to appoint a locum consultant paediatrician with an interest in haematology and oncology. The post will be based at Royal London Hospital.

The Children’s Hospital sits within the Women’s and Children’s Division, within Barts Health NHS Trust. It is an amalgamation of the children's services formerly based at Queen Elizabeth Children's Hospital in Hackney, at the Royal London Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital Newham and Whipps Hospitals. It provides services to the local populations of East London and the City. It provides a tertiary referral service for children in the North East London, and further afield regionally and nationally. Specialist services are described below. The CAG supports the ambulatory unit at Homerton Hospital by providing in-patient facilities for children requiring a stay of longer than 24 hours.
The Trust has one of the largest Paediatric services in London comprising over 100 beds and 3 outpatient departments. It uniquely provides secondary and tertiary paediatric medicine and surgery services to children in East London and adjacent areas; and specialist services to the local population and to the population of East London and Essex.
