An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Neuro therapy Team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The Neurotherapy team offers a cross site networked service with a 12 week training cycle that concentrates on developing knowledge and skills in the assessment and treatment of patients with brain, spinal and other neurological injuries. This post is based at the Royal London Hospital and is responsible for the provision of occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients with neurosurgical disorders.
We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Occupational Therapist with:
- Experience of working with neurological patients across the care pathway
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment, management and rehabilitation of neurological patients
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- A strong commitment to patient centered and evidence based care
