Duties and responsibilities
You will be required to assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings. You will be required to correctly undertake assessment tasks that have been delegated in relation to the specific individual as agreed with the care team.
You will be required to undertake the following tasks: Phlebotomy, Capillary blood testing, ECG recording, contribute to continence care including catheters and preparing and maintaining environments for clinical procedures
Who we are looking for
You will hold an NVQ in health and social care. You will have previous experience of working as a healthcare assistant within a hospital environment. You will have experience of planning work and acting under your own initiative. You will also have Patient/customer facing experience within a team setting.
