The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its five sites with specialist CT services at Denmark Hill in Camberwell and at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Farnborough.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and motivated Superintendent Radiographer to provide excellent clinical and operational leadership for the CT suite. The CT Superintendent Radiographer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of clinical and professional standards and the delivery of a safe, high quality CT service.
The unit undertakes a wide array of subspecialist procedures including Renal, Hepatobiliary, Vascular and Paediatric cases and Cardiac CT. King’s College Hospital is one of 4 Major Trauma Centres in London.
A major programme of equipment replacement and service expansion is due to commence imminently. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the continued delivery of clinical services during this period. They will also lead on a staff training programme and the development of appropriately robust competency documents.
The post holder whilst not managing CT operationally at the PRUH and South sites will work closely with the PRUH team when cross-site collaboration is required.
