Supported by a Regional Clinical Director and together with our Lead Nurse and Service Manager your managerial duties will include;
- The supervision and training of junior clinicians
- To meet the Clinical Governance needs of the UCC, investigate incidents and complaints whilst sharing learning from investigations with the whole team.
- Investigate and respond to clinical complaints.
-You'll be the safeguarding lead, both adults and children.
-To demonstrate and provide professional leadership, offering advice, direction, support and motivation for both the team but also external to the clinical setting.
-Carry out annual GP appraisals and 3 month reviews of new GPs.
-Assist in Recruitment of new Clinical Staff.
-Carry out inductions for all new GPs.
-You'll develop patient pathways within the UCC, community service and hospital specialisms.
-Carry out clinical audit work and develop actions and learning from the audit results.
-Develop strong working relationships with hospital clinicians.
-Participate and often lead regular meetings with the leadership team, in addition to quarterly team meetings, attend the providers operations meetings and Clinical Governance meetings.
