We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist to join the busy Service on a Locum basis on the beautiful Island of Jersey, in the Channel Islands .
Pay rate is £30.00 based on Ltd Co or Umbrella company, flights to and fro the Island are paid, and subsidised accommodation is provided.
This is offered initially as a four-month assignment but we will consider a committment of less than this, dependant on mutual agreement.
Applications may also be considered for a permanent substantive position at the conclusion of the contract
This role is as the second of two Podiatrists for the States of Jersey (NHS equivalent) Health & Social Care.
Offering the successful candidate the opportunity to significantly develop your autonomous practice skills, with the support of a very experienced Podiatrist, this remit includes the following:
Outpatients; Diabetic and Rheumatology clinics.
Inpatients; Acute, Rehab and Mental Health.
Community; Day Care Centre, Learning Disabilities and Aged Care.
The island of Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands; a Crown Dependency with a population of Apply.

Person requirements :
- Qualified Podiatrist with current full HCPC registration .
- A good scope of clinical practice experience; three years post qualifying experience to include Diabetes and Wound Care.
- The ability to be able to work autonomously and act as a source of expertise in your field.
- The ability to make clinical judgments and decisions with confidence.
- To be an excellent communicator within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A current driving licence and own vehicle is a distinct advantage, given the commuting between sites but cyclists may be considered.
