We are currently recruiting to post’s within a newly designed Enhanced Care Provision team with a clear focus on maximizing safe and effective care for patients who have an additional care need
The team will consist of 1wte Band 6 Team leader and 14wte Band 2 Enhanced Care healthcare assistants. Band 2 Enhanced Care Healthcare Assistant
We are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic and flexible people into a team who will deliver therapeutic and compassionate care for patients who have an enhanced care requirement. This is an exciting new service to Bart’s Health NHS Trust and is part of our journey to good and outstanding.
This would be an exciting opportunity to develop new and existing skills for an established Healthcare Assistant within a hospital setting/community setting or for an individual who is looking to develop skills prior to embarking on a career in nursing.
You will possess good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team, with a passion for providing collaborative and compassionate care. Your development and performance will be supported and overseen by an Enhanced care Team Leader alongside the established senior nursing team.
You will receive specialist training in all aspects of enhanced care provision which will include:
Conflict management / dementia and delirium / mental health / tracheostomy care and advanced communications skills, alongside training in the fundamentals of nursing care.
