Permanent Clinical/Forensic Psychologist
Hours: 37.5 hrs
Start date: ASAP
Band 7 considered

Our client, one of the UK's largest and highly reputable mental health care providers, is looking for a HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to work within their 119 bed low and medium secure hospital facility for adult males (18 years +) with complex and challenging needs.
The role involves the following:
- Providing evidence based psychological assessment and reflective practice
- Provision of 1:1 and group interventions to patients to address a range of needs
- Contributing to MDT care planning and review
- Contributing to the CPA process
- Contributing to professional development within the team
- Contributing to audit and research as directed by the line manager
The ideal candidate will have an accredited post-graduate qualification in Clinical or Forensic Psychology and a commitment to patient-centred care. Experience of working in a forensic mental health setting and with patients detained under the Mental Health Act ( Apply) is advantageous, along with post-registration experience. The successful candidate will also be flexible and team-orientated, with a drive to learn and develop.
