Permanent Clinical Psychologist required for a child and young peoples service.
Location: South West region (Devon/Cornwall)
Hours: Full time hours
Mind Professionals are looking for a forward thinking, motivated and enthusiastic psychological practitioner to join an Integrated Therapies Team.
The candidate will be an HCPC (or equivalent) registered psychological practitioner who can offer assessment, formulation and psychological interventions across our varied services. You will have a passion for working with the most vulnerable young people, with children in care and/or with learning disabilities. You will understand how to work both directly and indirectly to support the network around young people and will join an organisation that is determined to offer bespoke, individualised and psychologically informed care.
The successful candidate be a key player in one of the UK's most innovative education and care organisations. Our client is an experienced provider of education and care services for children and young people across the South West.
The Integrated Therapies Team is made up of clinical psychology, counselling, behaviour support, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. The team seeks to deliver easily and equitably accessible, emotional wellbeing, mental health and physical therapies for the young people in its care.
The organisation want to encourage a holistic approach to working with young people and are seeking a psychological practitioner that can carry a comprehensive caseload, deal with complex cases and offer a variety of interventions, and training. Clinicians trained in evidence based psychological interventions (e.g. positive behaviour support, cognitive behavioural therapy) are particularly well suited to this role.
