Permanent HCPC Clinical / Forensic Psychologist - Personality Disorders
Hours: 40 hours

Band: 7 or 8a considered

Our client, one of the UK's largest providers of mental health care, is looking for a HCPC registered Clinical / Forensic Psychologist - Personality Disorders to work in a multidisciplinary team, within a 20 bed hospital specialising in mental health rehabilitation for women. The post-holder will provide psychology service to a range of clients, which will include the following:
- Highly specialist psychological assessments
- Interpretation from psychological tests
- Semi-structured interviews, individual and group therapy.
- To formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of service users' mental health problems
The successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications and proven experience working with a variety of adult patient groups with a range of mental health problems varying in severity and complexity. You must be able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team and have up to date knowledge of different psychological models relating to the clinical population. Knowledge of psychological assessment and formulation, as well as planning and delivering psychological intervention is desirable, along with experience of psychological therapies, risk assessment, training and supervision.
