Location: Central London, within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £19,000 - £23,000 per annum / £9.74 - £11.79 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (negotiable depending on experience)
Bonus: Annual bonus provided.
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 - Monday to Friday - Flexible.
Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit an enthusiastic Ward Coordinator who will coordinate the arrival of patients to the hospital, from the ward to surgery and back. Provide patient information to the Surgical Care Coordinator, Paediatricians and other Surgeons. Report issues or concerns regarding patients and their families to the appropriate person. You may be asked to perform nonmedical tasks such as weighing the patient. Escorting patietns to and from lab tests. Ensuring instructions to the patients and their families from medical teams are understood. Confirm. Working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the role includes working with and supporting ward staff with administrative tasks: ensuring that all relevant documentation is available for patient admission ie: (Welcome Pack, MDT notes, door and bed patient labels); handling telephone enquiries; recording data; taking notes; archiving of patient notes; ordering equipment; booking transport and outpatient appointments as directed; assisting staff with designated tasks under the direction of the Ward Manager; along with a range of other administrative duties to support the IPC ward teams.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Ward Coordinator opportunity to possess previous administration experience, extremely organised and be ready to be the ambassador for the Ward. It is a must you have experience within a hospital/clinical setting. You will be able to work as part of a small multidisciplinary team providing an excellent service for our patients and surgeons. You will show individual drive and initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
