This opening is based at their state of the art hospital in Bradford and will involve building and maintaining relationships between Optometrists, ensuring that all prospective and current clients are up to date with Optegra's latest progress and information.

We are searching for an enthusiastic professional with a background in Ophthalmology, to join a growing team and assist with marketing, business development and continuing already established relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity to specialise within a clinical environment and to work at a modern and state of the art hospital which provides the highest possible standards of care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the continued build and evolution of real partnerships between Optegra's referral Optom network, and Optegra's Consultants and Hospital Directors. Responsible for co-ordinating the continual engagement with individual Optoms, in a meaningful way to both strengthen Optegra's local Optom reach and network (including Boots), and to speed up the build and continuity of each individual Consultant's surgical practice at Optegra.
3 - 5 years experience in a customer facing role
Strong customer service orientation
Previous experience of working in the Private Health Care Sector
Background in relationship building or sales
Outgoing and confident
An understanding of Ophthalmology
Management or leadership capabilities
Strong presentation and networking skills
Understanding and representation of the brand
Driving Licence preferable
The building and the ongoing maintenance of the local Optom database (by Optometrist by clinic)
The organisation and management of all local Optom events/training evenings etc.
The co-ordination of all Hospital Directors/Consultant meetings to Optom sites/clinics
The consistent management, co-ordination and scheduling of Optom visits to shadow Optegra consultants/staff/surgeries
The first point of customer contact for any Optom who calls the Optegra hospital with an enquiry or request for assistance/information
Support Marketing to facilitate Optegra communication, via daily localized Optom contact channels, such as email, social media, mail
Supporting the administrative function of all collaborative care programs between Consultants and Optoms
Work with Eye Sciences to evolve our Optom Engagement Strategy
This opportunity is based in Bradford and commutable from Leeds, Harrogate, Keighley and Bingley.
