Whipps Cross Hospital is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for doctors at CMT1-2 equivalent level who are planning to pursue evidence-based, patient centred medicine in London. Candidates are invited to apply for a variety of posts commencing ASAP for a period of up to 1 year. There are a variety of banded and un-banded posts. They are intended to rotate within the Division of Medicine and therefore may include Geriatrics, General Medicine, Acute Medicine & Ambulatory Care, Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology and Metabolic Medicine, with the precise rotation agreed between the applicant and the Trust. Successful applicants will be able to develop individualised educational goals including a focus within the specialty of your choice.
Although these posts are being advertised for a one year duration, candidates who are only able to commit to a shorter time period will be considered. All successful candidates will be invited to enrol with Staff-bank to take advantage of internal locum opportunities in the evenings and weekends.
These posts are suitable for experienced doctors who have completed Foundation medical competencies (or equivalent) and wish to gain a period of focussed experience and training in medicine. Very suitable for candidates who are attempting the MRCP examination. Candidates should be fully registered with the General Medical council and should have up to date ALS training.
