This fantastic opportunity for Experienced Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographers to join this Trust located in the south Essex.

Their radiology department provides a comprehensive, state of the art, diagnostic service using x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computerised tomography (CT) and ultrasound. They are the surgical centre for uro-oncology and gynae-oncology surgery and is considered to be a centre of excellence for the care of stroke.
You will be an experienced radiographer, with autonomous responsibility for providing a high quality specialist and general radiography service to all patients, across a broad spectrum of imaging techniques, using best practice at all times. This will include, as minimum, plain film radiography, mobile plain film radiography, theatre radiography and computed tomography (CT) of inpatients, outpatients, GP referred patients and Emergency Department patients.
You will be competent in the safe use and manipulation of complex and specialised x-ray equipment and workstations and you will be responsible for ensuring that you maintain this competency in line with medical equipment competency checklists.
Bsc (Hons) radiography / Diploma of college of radiographers, or equivalent
Extensive CPD portfolio
Able to provide high quality specialist and general radiography service to all patients, across a broad spectrum of imaging techniques. This will include, as minimum, plain film radiography, mobile plain film radiography, theatre radiography and computed tomography (CT)
Post graduate qualification, or demonstrable equivalent in CT, MRI, Angiography or other specialist modality
