Our client has continued to maintain a strong sense of core values. This home is a purpose-built Nursing Home situated in the lovely village of Charlton Down, Dorchester. It is a three floor building which has a lounge and dining room on each floor, there is also a cinema room, IT room, quite room and music room which residents can choose to use at any time. It has large landscaped grounds. The priority is the welfare and happiness of their residents and staff. The Home caters for 85 residents providing Nursing care to male and females over the age of 65 for long and short term stays who may require nursing care. The ground floor has a 31 bedded EMI unit providing specialist care to residents who may be living with dementia which is run by highly experienced and qualified staff. The remaining 54 beds are on the first and second floors which include a high dependency unit and provisions for respite, intermediate and general nursing care.
You will assist with essential aspects of care, i.e. washing, dressing, bathing, serving meals, feeding residents and where necessary, helping with residents' rehabilitation. Please see below -

You will provide a superior standard of care in secure, relaxing and homely surroundings. Also, providing privacy, dignity, choice and encourage independence. Whilst supporting and maintaining a person centred care environment and promoting self-esteem.
You must be able to demonstrate you can work as part of a team as well as an ability to work independently. For the right candidate, this will be both a rewarding and satisfying job.
