Our inclusive way of working has the patient as a true partner in their care. We recognise that each and every member of staff has an important role to play in the success of the hospital. It is with their dedication, passion and hard work that we can deliver excellent care programs that truly benefit the patients.
The business has a network of over 40 services strategically placed across England and Wales.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a psychologist to work in a diverse inpatient setting. The Recovery Centre consists of a locked assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties and a locked male Autism Service for the challenging and complex needs of adults with Autism and Asperger's syndrome. This is a great opportunity to work with both males and females across a range of presentations. We provide a range of psychological approaches across four wards including: DBT, CBT, Person-Centred Therapy and EMDR. We welcome candidates trained in these approaches as well as those who can offer alternative psychological approaches to enhance our service provision. Over the coming months we will be opening two additional wards which will further expand our female rehabilitation provision as well as a male low secure ward.
We are looking for a committed Psychologist who is eager to work with individuals with complex needs, and would like to broaden and further develop their expertise.
The successful candidate's role will be interesting and diverse and will include; individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, risk assessment and facilitating staff reflective practice sessions. In-role training can be provided in any of these areas as required.
We welcome creativity and this role would be ideal for someone who is interested in helping to further develop psychology provision across the hospital.
There is a strong emphasis on team working, supervision and CPD. We regularly link with other Elysium hospitals in the region for CPD opportunities and have both individual and group supervision sessions.
