Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse - Mon-Fri - Competitive Salary
Full Time - 37.5 hours
£28,000 - £30,000 + Enhancements, Private Health Care, Life Insurance and more.
Compass Associates are excited to be working with a valued client to recruit for a full time Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner to join a busy and fast paced theatre team. This Bradford based Independent Hospital is part of a highly recognised healthcare group, their exceptional standards for patient care setting them apart from other private healthcare organisations. The opportunity to work with professional, motivated colleagues, who are passionate about delivering outstanding service, makes this an extremely exciting opening. This is a full time position, shift patterns including early, late and long days.
The Ideal candidate should be smart, polite and flexible in their approach to work. They will also be self motivated, positive thinking and proven to be able to provide extremely high standards of patient care. You will be required to provide quality services for patients, specialising in Ophthalmology and hold and appropriate RGN or ODP qualification. Previous Experience would be an advantage, however on going training and support is received for any successful applicants. This is an extremely appealing opportunity for a Nurse to join a supporting and friendly team.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Qualifications
Registered Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration
Ophthalmic experience scrub/diagnostic
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills
Negotiable salary dependent upon skills and qualifications + enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call

The role is based in Bradford and commutable from Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Harrogate and York.
