Job Description
Patient care and experience is important to us and we have an experienced multidisciplinary team who all liaise together with patient involvement to ensure holistic care is provided. We also have a strong management team which is continuously reviewing all areas of care to ensure the quality we delivered is consistently improving.
The role of Patient Flow Coordinator is a busy and varied one where the work will change to meet the needs of the service. Part of a small, friendly administration team that supports a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians, you'll regularly liaise with multi-agency services, including Social Services and the private sector.
Well organised, with a good eye for detail and experience of working as a coordinator, as well as in a confidential environment, you enjoy helping others and dealing with a wide range of people. Indeed, you have excellent interpersonal skills and are used to communicating effectively at all levels and with different audiences. A flexible approach, including a willingness to help support clinicians with patients' needs is also essential, plus you'll need the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a calm and professional attitude.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £29.50(standard disclosure) or £47.50 (enhanced disclosure) which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
