Experienced General Practice Administration Assistant Required in Bath

Do you have experience working in an admin role within General Practice? Are you looking for more flexibility and freedom with your work life?

We're working with a college in Bath who are looking for an experienced receptionist to work with on a temporary locum basis starting ASAP and on-going until Summer 2021.

The rate for this role would be £11.75 per hour (this rate includes holiday pay), and the hours will be flexible around you with the college looking for up to 37 hours per week!

For this role, you must have experience working in General Practice and be confident with:

• Reception duties
• Making appointments
• Taking messages
• Organising of COVID swab tests
• Liaising messages between clinical staff and patients.

All training will be provided, but you will be required to talk people through the self-administration COVID test. You will be a professional and friendly presence, with a good understanding of patient confidentiality.

As mentioned, you will receive an induction on your first day, which will provide a great opportunity to be introduced to the team and find your feet in the Practice. From there, you will use your existing experience to work autonomously, alongside the existing admin team and the another clinician on site.
