Kent House Hospital is a specialist Tier 4 Low Secure CAMHS service for females 12-18. The hospital provides a service to support adolescent girls with a range of mental health disorders.

In this role, you will combine clinical expertise with effective leadership to deliver sector-leading care

Seeking a proven Medical Director /motivated Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist interested in challenge, career development and a competitive salary?

The role will complement our existing medical team. You would lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering services aimed at achieving clinical excellence. As Medical Director, you would work closely with the Hospital Director as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) to help the hospital achieve its clinical and strategic aims.

Your Role Responsibilities...

- Lead on all aspects of clinical practice & serve as an example of operational excellence

- Ensure optimal clinical outcomes for the people in our care

- Provide expert knowledge & support within the service & to the wider team

- Ensure quality & compliance with internal & external standards & regulations

- Work with colleagues to provide integrated, whole person treatment & care

- To use audit and benchmarking, performance data, learning from incidents and complaints, service user experience feedback and compliance inspections to Coach, mentor & train colleagues

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is...

- Fully GMC registered with a relevant medical qualification

- Entry onto the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

- An accomplished leader & clinician

- Knowledgeable of all aspects of clinical governance

- Skilled in medical appraisals, clinical supervision, case investigation & case management

- Salary up to £ Apply (depending on experience)

Appointment is subject to enhanced DBS check. To be considered for this position you must hold an approved postgraduate degree MRCPsych or equivalent and you must have completed appropriate specialist training, have Section 12(2) approval and be an Approved Clinician
