Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Roehampton offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 100 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services. We also offer specialist treatment via a range of online platforms.
Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.
We are currently seeking an experienced Addiction Therapist to join our Addiction Therapy Programme team. We are seeking a skilled therapist who is available to work primarily during the week, with some weekend and evening work.
Roehampton Priory Hospital's Addiction Treatment programme offers an intensive 28 day inpatient programme which runs 7 days per week. This programme is supported by our day service and outpatient therapy provisions. We are currently using a range of online platforms to extend our support services for patients.
Specialist addiction treatment at Priory is underpinned by the 12-Step abstinence model. The successful candidate will have experience of working with this model, together with confident therapeutic skillsets in:
- Group therapy facilitation
- Delivering psychoeducation workshops
- Individual patient assessment and individual therapy
The successful candidate will be dedicated to the provision of high quality evidence-based addictions therapy and will be capable of working in a multidisciplinary team environment. Time management and administrative discipline are also important attributes.
Experience of working in a residential addictions treatment centre is desired. Applications from people in recovery from addiction are welcomed. A minimum of three years in recovery is required.
