Job Description

Job Role: Clinical Paramedic Trainer (Regional)

Hours: Full Time – 40 Hours a week (Flexibility on working hours is required, including some weekend working)

Salary: £30,000.00 - £33,000.00 per annum

Location: South Molton & Minehead (North Devon)

Transport: You must be able to drive due to this being a regional role and the rural location

A Unique and Amazing opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Paramedic, to change direction from working front line to work as a Group Clinical Trainer for Eastleigh Care.

Eastleigh Care are an established family-run, Nursing & Residential Care provider who offer a range of support, including Nursing Care and Palliative Care, amongst other options.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Paramedic to work for an accredited care provider Awarded the “Gold Standards Framework (GSF)” in 2013 across Somerset and working to those standards in North Devon.

About you:

We are looking for a Qualified Paramedic who wants to support and train our Clinical Team and Nurses at Eastleigh Care in terms of BLS & ILS, First Aid at Work, Managing Medical practice and looking after the complex care of our residents. This is a senior role within Eastleigh Care, reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer!

Key Accountabilities:

Provide BLS/ILS and First Aid at Work Training

Management Emergency Equipment

Review current practices for Emergency Care within the Homes

Identifying areas for Training Needs Analysis

Conduct Observations in practice

Taking responsibility for clinical expertise within our Homes

Conducting Root Cause Analysis in terms of Investigations that may arise within the homes

Providing Emergency care assistance to our residents as and when required

Act as a Liaison with External Agencies

Managing and planning Emergency Scenarios
