We have a new vacancy for a Typist/Receptionist in Leeds at a GP surgery in the community clinic department.
The role is part time around 20-30 hours per week, ideally working 9am-2pm each day (perfect for the school run!) although they can be flexible around start and finish times.
To be considered for the role you must have receptionist/admin experience, and you must have audiotyping training/experience and ideally, you'll have worked within a healthcare setting before. You will be a confident touch typist, experience using the audiotyping system Lexicom would be very advantageous although not required as training on the system can be given. Accuracy is paramount and confidence answering the phones and booking appointments is required to be successful.
This role offers an immediate start, firstly on a temp basis however after a couple weeks the contract will be made permanent should you make a good impression.
You'll receive an initial salary of £11.75 whilst on the temp shifts (no benefits, sick pay or security of contract), but once employed as a permanent member of the team you'll receive £11.15 per hour, NHS pension and 5 weeks of annual leave + bank holidays off and the security of being on a long-term permanent contract.
