Lead Theatre Practitioner - RGN / ODP - Private Hospital  

Coventry, West Midlands  

Salary - £36,000 Per Annum + Enhancements

Compass Associates are excited to working with a leading private hospital, on the search for their next lead theatre practitioner. With hospitals spread across the UK, this organisation are one of the leading brands for private healthcare - being recognised for a variety of services.  


This particular 52 bed private facility has 3 laminar flow theatres, an endoscopy suite and dedicated day case pods. They are specialists in the pre- and post-operative care for orthopaedics, cosmetics, general, gynae, ophthalmics, ENT and urology.

The Candidate / Position                 


As the ideal candidate, you will be a considered and energetic senior nurse / ODP qualified practitioner, with scrub, anaesthetics or recovery experience in theatres. You will lead a team in theatres, working closely with the theatre manager to ensure the smooth running of lists.


Ideally you will have previous experience leading a team / at band 6 level in the NHS. You will have a great chance to progress with professional development and training towards senior level positions.




Minimum Requirements    


Registered Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration    

Scrub. Anaesthetics or Recovery focused theatre experience

Good interpersonal and communication skills    

Passion for high quality patient safety and care  

Problem solving and analytical skills  



Salary & Benefits            


This position is paying £36,000 per annum - dependent upon skills and qualifications + generous enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call
