Clinical Lead - Specialist Residential Schools


Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (may be negotiable DOE)

Compass Associates are excited to be working with a leading provider of children's residential, education and fostering services to recruit a Clinical & Regional Wellbeing Lead to work on a full time, permanent basis.


You would work between two specialist schools (and their associated residential homes) for children with SEMH needs, autism, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, challenging behaviours and backgrounds of trauma. The role holds a combination of leadership, management and clinical responsibilities as you would be involved in developing therapeutic provisions, managing the multi-disciplinary team and working directly with the children and young people. You would also be an instrumental driving force in the development and implementation of a regional integrated wellbeing model to ensure therapy is delivered to a high standard across the schools and residential homes.


As Clinical Lead, you would supervise and develop the therapeutic teams at each site, which includes Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Lead SALT and an Occupational Therapist, but also receive close support and clinical supervision from the Regional Head of Children's Clinical Services who is also a Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

The successful candidate must have:

A Doctorate level degree in Clinical, Forensic or Educational Psychology

HCPC registration

Experience working with children with autism, learning disabilities and complex backgrounds

Experience working within specialist education/residential/fostering services
