Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working exclusively with a Private Hospital located in the heart of Central London, who specialise in Spinal and Orthopaedic surgeries. Originating in Germany, this company is renowned for providing world-class medical excellence through their specialised care, standardised patient pathways and a data driven approach to quality and patient outcomes. At present, we are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join their Inpatient Ward.

The Candidate

We are looking for a dynamic and professional individual, with a positive and flexible outlook to be a part of a forward thinking and innovative organisation. As this is a senior position, you will be supporting the Inpatient Sister and management team in the smooth running of the department, acting as a role model and support network for junior staff. Experience with Spinal and/or Orthopaedics will be advantageous. Our client prides themselves on their outstanding quality of nursing care with 98% rating from their patients, so we are looking for likeminded individuals who will promote high standards.

In order to be successful with this opportunity, you must be a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC Pin. This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours. This role will require a level of flexibility as you will be working a rotation of shifts from Monday - Sunday in either long days, earlies, lates and night shifts. Our client can offer some flexibility regarding shift patterns, which will be discussed at interview stage.

There is a huge amount of opportunity that comes with this role, including the chance to undergo your Mentorship Qualification if you do not have so already, and even the chance to gain your post grad within Orthopaedics'. Our client is dedicated to developing their staff's skills and experiences, working in a specialist environment alongside leading experts.

Requirements

- Registered General Nurse (RGN) Qualification

- NMC Registration

- Mentorship qualification is desired

- Previous experience in a surgical setting

- Previous experience mentoring junior staff and working at a senior level

- Positive and flexible outlook

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong interest for clinical excellence and quality outcomes

Salary and Package

There is a highly competitive salary of up to £39,000 on offer for this position. My client is also offering some excellent benefits including a £1,500 Golden Hello, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Season Ticket Loan, and the opportunity to develop professionally with training and qualifications.
