Theatre Practitioner - RGN / ODP - Private Cosmetic Hospital

Manchester, Greater Manchester

Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 Per Annum + Enhancements

Compass Associates are excited to working with a renowned private hospital, on the search for their next theatre practitioner. With hospitals and clinics spread across the UK, this cosmetic health care organisation are one of the leading brands in the market place - being recognised for a variety of services.  


This particular 2 theatre / 23 bed private facility is a specialist within cosmetic procedures such as weight loss surgery, implants / breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, hair transplants and mastopexy. They also take on a range of general NHS surgeries alongside this from local trusts.

The Candidate / Position                 


As the ideal candidate, you will be a considered and energetic nurse / ODP qualified practitioner, with a range of experience in theatres. You will be joining a close-knit theatre team, working on a rota basis.


Ideally you will have an interest in cosmetics / plastics and have previous experience within a variety of surgical cases, however this is not an essential requirement. You will have a great chance to progress with professional development and training towards senior level positions.  



Minimum Requirements    


Registered Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration    

Scrub or Anaesthetics/Recovery focused theatre experience

Good interpersonal and communication skills    

Passion for high quality patient safety and care  

Problem solving and analytical skills  



Salary & Benefits          


This position is paying £30,000 - 32,000 per annum - dependent upon skills and qualifications + generous enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call

Location & Working Hours            


This opportunity is based in Manchester and is commutable from Stockport, Altringham, Salford, North Cheshire etc.  


The theatres typically operate Mon - Sat, with shifts being between spread between either 4 or 5 days per week. Theatres typically run from 7am onward.
