We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Community Paediatric team in Trafford. The service is an integrated team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists supported by a Team Leader. We are located at Waterside House alongside other multi-agency colleagues.

You will be responsible for managing your own mixed caseload of neurodevelopmental, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic aftercare patients. You will undertake assessment, advice and treatment for children 0-19 years in a variety of community settings including; patients home, mainstream schools, special schools and outpatient clinics. The post also involves carrying out hydrotherapy sessions.

Previous experience of working with children is essential and you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. The service is committed to a strong CPD programme and you will be supported to be an active contributor to the development of our service.

You would be responsible for the supervision of junior staff and /or students. A current UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this post.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post.
