Clinical Fellow in Urology ST3+ (2 posts)

The Bristol Urological Institute wishes to appoint one Clinical Fellows in Urology to commence August 2020, for 12 months. Further extension may be possible and is dependent on satisfactory progress.

The vacancies are replacement for the current clinical fellows who have been successful in the National Selection for Urology Training. The posts provide excellent experience in Diagnostic & General Urology and are designed to prepare the post holders for the upcoming National Selection process.

The posts also provide protected time for research and the successful applicants will be expected to submit their work for presentation and publication. The successful candidates will participate in the Urology Middle Grade on Call Rota.

The posts are best suited for candidates wishing to further their training prior to joining a Higher Surgical Training Programme.

The BUI has an established record in conducting leading research and the post-holder will be well supported both clinically and academically.

Previous “hands on” UK experience, or equivalent and MRCS is essential. Overseas applicants will be expected to be eligible to Register with the General Medical Counsel and have achieved the required competencies in the IELTS or equivalent. Evidence must be clear on the application.

ST3+ Basic Salary: £49,036

In addition to the above there will be supplements for out of hours working.
