Trust doctor in High Dependency Care

Whipps Cross University Hospital

Three posts have become available within the department of Perioperative medicine.

The focus of this job is on intensive and high dependency care.

Applicants can be from any anaesthetic, emergency or acute medical or surgical background.

Training and experience consistent with a FY2 or greater.

The hospital has a nationally recognised 9 bedded Intensive Therapy Unit with Apply admissions per year. A new 8 bedded High Dependency Unit opened in January 2017.

Post holders will have the opportunity to be in theatres during some of their 'standard' days. This will allow those with an anaesthetic background to continue practising their skills and for those of different backgrounds to be taught a wide variety of new skills in a supportive environment.

The post holders will work a 1:8 on-call rota.

The jobs will be for six months in the first instance but extendable for longer by mutual consent.
