Locum Consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthetics

If you are looking for a fulfilling post in a busy, evolving critical care unit and an expanding anaesthetic department in which you can contribute your skills and expertise, then this is the job for you.
The post is for a full time locum consultant in anaesthetics and critical care, based primarily at Newham University Hospital. This falls within the surgical division of Newham University Hospital at Barts Health, and is one of four adult critical care and anaesthetic departments within the Trust.
We are looking for someone with great team working skills who will help to build on recent progress to deliver the medical care, staff development and innovation required to bring us to the front line of critical care.
Applications are invited from doctors with appropriate training and qualifications in anaesthetics and critical care medicine as defined by the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of intensive Care Medicine, or provide evidence of similar experience. Applicants must hold a CCT (or equivalent) in ICM or anaesthesia, or be within 6 months of obtaining this at the time of interview.
The unit is accredited for training by the GMC and study leave is supported by the Trust to allow facilitate attendance on relevant courses and conferences.
