Are you looking for a Specialty Doctor job with the chance to work towards your Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)? KMPT has the answer for you.

We have opportunities across Kent and our care groups for doctors to take advantage of our CESR fellowship programme. Join our diverse, dynamic and inspiring group of Specialty Doctors and acting Consultants well on the way to their CESR as part of our three-year-programme.

We provide a supportive environment with protected time to fulfil all the requirements of the scheme, gaining career-enhancing experiences as you do. Acting up, a dedicated peer group, mentoring and £1,500 bonus are some of the benefits.

What's in it for KMPT? Our team is being enhanced by the enthusiasm and skills of exceptional doctors. Win win.

The post will be within the Community Recovery Service Line (Medway Locality). Medway CMHT is a community based adult Psychiatry Service providing screening for entry into secondary mental health services through triage/screening and community assessments.

Our community care area includes our rehabilitation services rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC in April 2017 and specialist teams such as 'early intervention in psychosis and Learning Disability Services.

These are 10 PA posts however the Trust would welcome a discussion with individuals looking for a more flexible working pattern to support work-life balance.

Applicants must have full registration with the GMC including licence to practice.

The Trust has now moved to a position where MHA Section 12(2) Approval holders are expected to contribute to a middle-tier non-residential on call rota attracting an extra 1PA and 2% (of a 10 PA salary) pro-rata for part time. Specialty doctors who do not hold Section 12 (2) Approval are expected to work towards this and will be supported to do so.

The successful applicant will be required to have enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
