Waldenström’s & Neurohaematology Clinical Fellow

Senior IMT, ST3+ or equivalent candidates are invited to apply for a clinical fellow post in haematology at UCLH.

The post is for 12 months starting on 5 August 2020 and will be based at UCLH NHS Foundation Trust hospitals, mainly University College Hospital, the Macmillan Cancer Centre and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square.

All candidates should be eligible for registration with the GMC.
MRCP or equivalent is essential.

The post is full-time and includes shifts in the IMT on call rota at UCH. It is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable clinical (including being a sub-investigator in clinical trials) and academic experience whilst embedded in a busy tertiary referral London hospital.

Appointment to this clinical fellow post does not attract a training number; however, the post provides the opportunity to submit and present research projects at national and international congresses and embellish their CVs; previous candidates have gone on to secure ST3+ national training numbers in haematology in London.

Supervision is by Dr Shirley D’Sa, Consultant Haematologist and Lead for Waldenström’s and Neurohaematology at UCLH. Details of the job are to be found in the Job Description.
