Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced Workforce Planning Co-Ordinator to join our team in our NHS 111 Call Centre in Stoke Gifford - Bristol.
This role is integral to the co-ordination and scheduling of our workforce resourcing within our service, supporting the Workforce Planning Managers and the wider Work Force planning teams to ensure our resourcing schedules achieve both budgetary alignment and performance KPIs in line with the needs of the service.
We can offer a salary of 21,000 - 24,000 depending on experience.
Workforce Planning Manager
•To support the Workforce Planning Managers in producing cost efficient resource schedules, to achieve both budgetary alignment and performance KPIs in line with direction from the Workforce Planning Manager and Head of Workforce Planning.
•Ensure staff records are accurately maintained on the WFM including maintenance of shift plans, joiners, leavers and contracted hours.
•To ensure the workforce planning mailboxes are worked in line with agreed KPI’s.
•Support wider Work Force planning teams as required such as Rota Co-Ordinators and keying team.
•To adapt and innovate processes and practices and to work towards solutions to achieve short, medium and long-term business strategies.
•To assist the Workforce Planning Managers in managing the process for control and recording of staff annual leave, ensuring allocations are taken and that minimal hours are left at the end of the leave year.
•Ensure all working patterns comply with employment legislation, including break times and length between shift times.
•To distribute shift rosters in a timely fashion to regional contact centre teams
•Ensure all new recruit and leaver information is accurate and in order to maintain an up to date WFM system at all times.
•To highlight immediately any complex issue or concern that could potentially cause detriment to the company’s performance, reputation, commercial or financial stability.
Skills & Experience
· Able to work in an office environment with computer and telephony equipment.
· Able to travel to other Care UK sites where required
· Experience working with Workforce Management tools.
· Experience working in Contact Centre environments.
· A senior level of administrative understanding and delivery
· Experience in working towards financial and performance targets.
· Working knowledge of Workforce Management systems
· Office applications and particularly database collation.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Creative problem solving skills.
· Analytical ability.
· Ability to perform under pressure.
· Able to develop excellent working relationships across departments including contact centre managers, team leaders and training managers.
· Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills. Able to build a rapport with others.
· Minimum 5 x GCSE's
