We’re looking for a Psychiatrist to support the Head of Healthcare, based at HMP Lindholme

What will you be doing?

This is an exciting time to join HMP Lindholme with the delivery of our integrated mental health specification which is improving care to the prison population.

As the Psychiatrist for HMP Lindholme, you’ll provide dynamic leadership of the mental health professionals on site. You will be pivotal in engaging the mental health workforce to support the delivery of the organisation’s objectives, ensuring the provision of an effective high quality mental health workforce within the available resources.

As the Psychiatrist, you’ll support the Regional Mental Health Lead in shaping the policies and strategies for developing and modernising mental health practice throughout the Yorkshire Region in order to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate healthcare services for our patients.

Salary and Benefits

This is a part time role, working 20 hours per week. The hours would be 2 days 8am – 5pm with a 1 hour lunch and 1 day 8am – 12noon. We are flexible on the days per week you would wish to work.

Salary for this role is £72,829 per annum (this salary is already pro rata)

You will be required to cover annual leave / sickness either in person or via telephone support to HMP Doncaster and Moorlands.
