Job Description

Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation trust is the largest teaching hospital trust in the country, employing over 240 physiotherapy staff. Our main physiotherapy sites are both in central London on the bank of the Thames, within easy walking distance of the West End and the city. We also provide community services.

Position: Band 6 Physiotherapist - Oncology and Haematology

Calling for a dynamic and innovative individual, looking for an opportunity to work within the award-winning cancer services at Guy's Cancer.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced band 5 or current band 6 Physiotherapist to join our cancer therapy team. This position would be suitable for someone looking to develop their skills in cancer rehabilitation and work alongside our oncology and haematology multi-disciplinary team in both in and outpatient settings.

The candidate would ideally have previous experience or a strong interest or desire to learn and develop in cancer rehabilitation. They would be assisting our multi-disciplinary teams to provide rehabilitation assessment and interventions to those with a cancer diagnosis throughout their treatment pathway. Excellent organisational skills, information technology skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy inpatient and outpatient department are essential.
